Mark has been in ministry for over twenty years and has served in Piscataway since 1998. Originally from Indiana, Mark married a Jersey Girl and now loves the Garden State. Even though he is not crazy about New Jersey weather, Mark is grateful that God has brought him here and given him a church family who are fun to lead and serve. Mark is married with two sons (one in middle school and one in high school) and a dog.

Mark teaches the Bible with a mixture of conviction, humor, and compassion, believing that Jesus loves lost and hurting people and calls his church to do the same. He enjoys helping Christians take new steps of faith as they learn to love God, love people and serve others. Mark is known for being friendly, informal, and approachable – in fact, the only people who call him “Reverend” are telemarketers.

Bible "Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship"

Interests

Mark enjoys spending time with his family, watching sports and movies, and exploring the great hiking trails in New Jersey. Mark serves as an assistant soccer coach and likes to watch his sons as they compete in swimming, soccer, baseball and basketball. Mark used to enjoy playing basketball, but after breaking his nose three times and his thumb once, he finally realized he should take up tennis, which he plays as often as possible.
